FocusHNS Decides to Acquire 4.3 Billion KRW Worth of Point Mobile Shares
Focus HNS announced on the 22nd that it will acquire approximately 1.11 million shares of Point Mobile stock for 4.3 billion KRW. After the acquisition, its shareholding ratio will be about 8.75%.
Point Mobile, which was listed on the KOSDAQ market in 2020, is a company that develops and manufactures industrial personal digital assistants (PDAs). Point Mobile's PDAs are mainly used in warehouses and logistics centers. Last year, it recorded sales of approximately 80 billion KRW and an operating profit of 4.6 billion KRW.
Focus HNS became the second largest shareholder of Point Mobile. After the largest shareholder changed to WeHub, the company plans to actively pursue newly added business objectives such as payment agency services, smart card and terminal manufacturing through an extraordinary general meeting held last August.
