Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Student Team Wins Gold at Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Video Content Competition
Students of Gyeongnam Information University recently participated in the consortium joint competition held by the Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University and won the gold prize in the video content category.

View original imageThe Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Project Group Joint Competition, now in its second year, featured a total of 61 teams and about 170 participants competing in four categories: secondary battery design, research results, ideas, and video content. Awards were given to one grand prize team, 2-3 gold prize teams, and 4-6 silver prize teams per category.
The ‘Delta Team,’ composed of four mechanical engineering students from Gyeongnam Information University, submitted an educational video content work on secondary batteries aimed at elementary, middle, and high school students, winning the gold prize and a prize of 700,000 KRW.
Shim Jae-hyung, head of the Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Project Group at Gyeongnam Information University, said, “We will continue to do our best to help Gyeongnam Information University students grow into specialized talents in the secondary battery field.”
The Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University project focuses on creativity as the core goal to create new value in the secondary battery industry. Since 2023, it has been funded with a budget of 40 billion KRW over four years to nurture related human resources.

Gyeongnam Information University, together with Chungbuk National University, Inha University, Gachon University, and Pusan National University, formed a consortium and was selected for the advanced field innovation convergence university project in the secondary battery sector. They are receiving a total of 10.2 billion KRW in support to build educational infrastructure and jointly develop and operate curricula.
