Seondan-dong, Pocheon-si, Operates 'On-site Moving-in Report Service' at Daejin University
Seondan-dong, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 14th that it will operate a 'Mobile Resident Registration Office' in front of the student union building at Daejin University on the 16th and 17th.
The Mobile Resident Registration Office, conducted in collaboration with the Civil Affairs Division of Pocheon City Hall, is a customized administrative service where responsible officials visit the site directly to accept resident registration applications from students who find it difficult to visit the administrative welfare center on weekdays.
In addition, students who complete their resident registration can also apply for moving-in support funds. If they apply for the support funds, they will receive 100,000 KRW after 6 months and 200,000 KRW after 1 year.
Students who wish to apply for resident registration and moving-in support funds should bring their ID card, a copy of their bankbook, and a certificate of enrollment when visiting.
A Pocheon city official said, "We hope that students can conveniently use administrative services through this mobile resident registration and enjoy the benefits of the moving-in support funds," adding, "We will continue to actively work to increase the population of Pocheon City."
