Anyone interested in 'prohibiting corporal punishment of children' and 'preventing child abuse' can participate through social networking services (SNS).
Mayor Park joined the campaign at the suggestion of Matthias Beitl, Chairman of the Mercedes-Benz Korea Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, and nominated Kim Suhwan, Chief of the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, and Ha Yoonsoo, Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, as the next participants.
Mayor Park Hyungjun said, "I hope the culture of positive parenting that respects children as they are will spread throughout our society," and added, "I ask many citizens to join this campaign supporting the prevention of child abuse."
