Relieving Job Hunger with Over 300 Positions... Yeongdeungpo-gu Hosts Employment Fair
October 15th at 1 PM: 'Job Fair' Connecting Job Seekers and Companies at FKI Tower
One-on-One Interviews, Personalized Employment Counseling, Resume Photo Sessions, and Comprehensive One-Stop Job Support Services
Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will hold the ‘Hope · Happiness · Future Job Fair,’ featuring over 300 diverse job opportunities, on the 15th at 1 PM on the first floor of the FKI Tower.
Held in collaboration with the Hankyung Middle-aged Tomorrow Center, Seoul Southern Employment and Labor Office, and Yeongdeungpo Women’s Human Resources Development Center, this job fair offers various employment opportunities to job seekers and a chance for companies to recruit outstanding talent. Approximately 300 jobs will be created across various fields such as airports, hospitals, and customer service (CS) during the fair.
Amid the recent contraction in the employment market, the district expects this fair to provide practical assistance to job seekers facing challenges such as lack of job information, uncertainty about hiring procedures, and anxiety about interview preparation.
This year’s ‘Hope · Happiness · Future Job Fair’ will be held from 1 PM to 5 PM on the 15th at the first floor of the FKI Tower located in Yeouido. The job fair will feature ▲ a company recruitment hall where 1:1 on-site interviews take place ▲ an employment support hall offering personalized job counseling ▲ and an auxiliary event hall providing total employment services such as resume photo shoots.
First, the ‘Company Recruitment Hall,’ which attracts the most interest from job seekers, will have 25 participating companies. These companies, recruiting for various positions targeting middle-aged individuals, women, and others, will conduct 1:1 on-site interviews at their booths. Visitors can attend interviews by bringing their resumes and self-introduction letters on the day.
At the ‘Employment Support Hall,’ personalized job counseling, job information provision, and various support programs for employment will be offered to job seekers attending the fair.
Lastly, the 10 ‘Auxiliary Event Halls’ will provide total employment services such as resume consulting, free photo shoots, and individual color diagnosis. Additionally, job linkage, financial and fiscal counseling, and start-up consultations will be provided for vulnerable job seekers in employment blind spots, including persons with disabilities, multicultural families, and seniors.
Furthermore, the district plans to enhance employment capabilities through thorough follow-up management such as employment linkage in desired fields and consulting for job seekers who visited the fair even after the event.
