"Returning the Love Received"... 100 Million Won Donation
5 Companies Also Join... Total 200 Million Won Delivered to World Vision
Recently returned YouTuber Tzuyang belatedly announced news of a donation exceeding 100 million won.
On the 11th, Tzuyang uploaded a video on her YouTube channel expressing gratitude for surpassing 10 million subscribers. The video was filmed in July.
She explained the reason for her donation, saying, "I really struggled with how to express my thanks and what to do. My job exists because you watch and enjoy my videos," adding, "With the desire to give back the love I received, I decided to donate 100 million won."
She continued, "Actually, it is a very insufficient amount, but I am donating a little every month, and I will continue to try to repay the love you have given me."
In response to Tzuyang's good deed, five companies joined in, each contributing 20 million won, raising an additional 100 million won, making the final donation amount 200 million won. The donation was delivered to World Vision to help 10 million children in Southern Africa facing a food crisis.
Earlier, in July, Tzuyang confessed that she had been threatened with the distribution of illegal recordings and subjected to continuous assault for four years by her ex-boyfriend, YouTubers, and others. During this process, she was extorted of at least 4 billion won, and even people around her were threatened and extorted of hundreds of millions of won. After taking a three-month break, Tzuyang resumed her 'mukbang' (eating broadcast) on the 8th, receiving warm support from fans.
At that time, through a live broadcast announcing her return and her 'mukbang,' Tzuyang said, "I took a lot of time to reflect on myself while resting. I can't change what I've already lived. There were many choices I regret, but still, I often thought that it was good to 'have revealed (the abuse).' The past is all behind me, so I think I just need to live harder from now on. I am okay now, and my mental state is good. I am fighting hard against ridiculous rumors and plan to resolve things legally with lawyers without directly explaining anymore."
