Kyungnam Information University Provides Makeup Support for 2024 National Sports Festival Opening Ceremony
Gyeongnam Information University announced on the 10th that its students will be supporting the makeup and styling for performance teams at the opening ceremony of the '2024 105th National Sports Festival', which will be held from the 11th to the 17th.
About 20 students from the K-Beauty Stylist Department (currently Beauty Advisor Department) at Gyeongnam Information University will participate in the opening ceremony and major events, assisting with the smooth running of the festival. In particular, the Gyeongnam Information University team will be solely responsible for the makeup of approximately 200 performers in the opening ceremony performance team.
Jung Cheolsun, head of the K-Beauty Stylist Department at Gyeongnam Information University, said, "This is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their skills at a national event, and I will do my best to guide them so that it becomes a wonderful occasion," adding, "Gyeongnam Information University will continue to do its utmost to nurture high-level beauty professionals in line with the global K-beauty trend."

Starting from the 2025 academic year, Gyeongnam Information University will recruit new students after completing curriculum reforms for nurturing beauty professionals, including the K-Beauty Stylist Department, K-Beauty Skin and Nail Department, K-Beauty Health Department, and Hair Design Department.
