Hanam-si Conducts Training for Licensed Realtors to Prevent Real Estate Transaction Accidents
Hanam City is conducting the '2024 Opening (Affiliated) Licensed Real Estate Agent Group Training Course.'
Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced that it conducted the '2024 Open (Affiliated) Certified Real Estate Agent Group Training' over three days on the 7th, 8th, and 10th at the city hall annex auditorium, with the participation of approximately 650 certified real estate agents from the area.
The certified real estate agent training is a legally mandated education that must be completed every two years. Failure to complete the training may result in a fine of up to 1 million KRW according to relevant laws.
During this training, the city invited professional instructors to provide lectures on △the latest amendments to real estate-related laws △methods to prevent real estate transaction accidents △real estate tax laws (acquisition tax, property tax, comprehensive real estate tax, etc.) and other practical real estate brokerage topics.
Additionally, the city's Land Information Division Real Estate Management Team explained major civil complaint cases.

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae stated, “This training was conducted to enhance the professionalism and service quality of certified real estate agents and to prevent real estate transaction accidents.” He added, “Furthermore, as Hanam City is carrying out the ‘Gyeonggi-do Safe Jeonse Project,’ a public-private initiative to eradicate jeonse fraud, we ask for active participation and interest in this project.”
