Paju City Accelerates Final Ginseng Sorting Ahead of Gaeseong Ginseng Festival

Paju City in Gyeonggi Province is stepping up preparations for ginseng to be sold at the upcoming 19th Paju Gaeseong Ginseng Festival, which will be held on October 19 and 20, 2024.
According to Paju City on October 8, all ginseng sold at the Paju Gaeseong Ginseng Festival is strictly managed, with city officials supervising the harvesting, sorting, and sealing processes.
Since October 4, the city has been harvesting six-year-old ginseng from cultivation sites located in Munsan-eup, Beobwon-eup, and Jeokseong-myeon. By October 12, the harvested ginseng will be transported to a ginseng sorting facility, where it will be sorted and sealed.
