Pyeongtaek City Selects 161 Resident Participation Budget Projects for Next Year
50 Billion KRW Project Budget Reviewed by City Council to Be Included in Next Year's Budget
On the 7th, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province held a full meeting of the Resident Participation Budget Committee and announced on the 8th that it had finally selected 161 resident participation budget projects to be reflected in next year's budget.

Among the projects selected this time, 29 are under the jurisdiction of the city, and the remaining 132 are classified as eup, myeon, and dong projects tailored to the characteristics of the region, the city explained. The budget scale for each project is 3 billion KRW for city jurisdiction projects and 2 billion KRW for eup, myeon, and dong projects.
The projects selected this time will be included in next year's main budget and finalized after budget review by the city council.
Shin Hee-cheol, chairman of the Pyeongtaek Resident Participation Budget Committee, said, "The process of discovering and selecting projects was a meaningful time to empathize with and solve problems experienced in daily life," adding, "We will continue to strive to ensure that various proposed projects are reflected."
