YourWish CEO Choi Yonghyun Donates 10.04 Million Won to Korea Military Academy
Choi Yong-hyun, CEO of the gift platform startup YourWish, announced on the 4th that he donated 10.04 million KRW to the Korea Military Academy. A former captain of the Korea Military Academy, CEO Choi expressed a strong commitment to contributing to the development of future army leaders through this donation. The donated funds will be used for various educational programs and to support outstanding students at the Korea Military Academy.
CEO Choi Yong-hyun said, “My experience at the Korea Military Academy greatly helped in developing my leadership skills, and I hope the same opportunities will be given to juniors who will lead the future of the Korean Army,” adding, “Although this donation is small compared to the opportunities and love I received from the country, I hope it will encourage more people to trust and support the Army and the Armed Forces.”
A representative from the Korea Military Academy stated, “This donation will greatly help improve the learning environment for students,” and added, “We plan to honor the donor’s valuable intentions by striving to establish a future-oriented educational system.”

YourWish was founded in 2022 by CEO Choi Yong-hyun while he was enrolled in the Seoul National University MBA program, aiming to provide a solution that innovates the corporate gift market. The company secured seed investment from Y&Archer and Daekyung Technology Holdings, won the 2nd ‘Design Thinking-based AI + X Global Startup’ competition hosted by KAIST, was recognized as an outstanding company in the Seoul National University Haedong Startup Support Program, Kibo Venture Camp, Early Startup Package, and Non-face-to-face Startup Development Project. Currently, it is expanding its services to create solutions for corporate employee welfare and work engagement.
