Ukraine "65% Increase in Military Supplies Budget Next Year"
The Ukrainian government announced on the 2nd (local time) that it plans to increase next year's military procurement budget by 65% compared to this year.
According to local Ukrainian media, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated at the 2nd International Defense Industry Forum, attended by representatives of foreign military suppliers, that the budget for purchasing weapons and military equipment next year will be increased by $7 billion (approximately 9.2 trillion won).
Prime Minister Shmyhal said that last year's weapons production was three times that of the previous year, and from January to August this year, it doubled compared to the same period last year, urging investment in the Ukrainian market.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that a contract has already been signed to produce 1.5 million drones this year, and Ukraine is capable of manufacturing 4 million drones annually.

The Russian government set next year's defense budget at 13.5 trillion rubles (approximately $143 billion, about 189 trillion won), a 25% increase from this year. This is 2.6 times the size of Ukraine's defense budget of $54 billion for next year.
