JCS: "North Korea Resumes Launching Anti-South Trash Balloons" After Ten Days
The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on the 2nd that North Korea is floating an object presumed to be a South Korea-bound trash balloon. This is the first time North Korea has floated a balloon in ten days since the 22nd of last month.
In the early morning of the same day, the Joint Chiefs stated, "Considering the wind direction, the balloon may move toward northern Gyeonggi Province and the Seoul metropolitan area," urging caution regarding falling payloads and advising not to touch any fallen balloons but to report them to the military or police.
