‘The Palace 73’ Richard Meier Directly Involved
The ultra-luxury hyper-end residence ‘The Palace 73,’ directly designed by world-renowned architect Richard Meier, is attracting attention.
Richard Meier, a recipient of the Pritzker Prize often called the Nobel Prize of architecture and famously known as the ‘White Architect,’ is one of the greatest masters worldwide, and his architectural philosophy is embodied in The Palace 73.
To fully realize Richard Meier’s architectural philosophy, The Palace 73 selected Samsung C&T Construction Division, regarded as the top construction company in Korea. Additionally, a business agreement was signed with global giant Samsung Electronics to apply cutting-edge technologies such as Micro LED TVs, Dacor kitchen appliances, LED signage, Harman professional audio products, and IoT (Internet of Things)-based specialized services like ‘SmartThings’ throughout the complex.
A representative from The Land stated, “To offer the highest value never before seen in other high-end residences, we have collaborated with Richard Meier, several leading domestic artists, Samsung C&T, and Samsung Electronics, bringing together the best experts and global companies in the industry.”
The Palace 73 will be built up to 35 floors high, equivalent to the height of a typical 50-story apartment, and the luxury amenities and retail space accessible without restriction to residents alone cover approximately 4,627 square meters (about 1,400 pyeong). As a high-end residence securing a rare large site in Gangnam, it draws attention with its overwhelmingly large scale that differentiates it from other complexes.
In terms of location, the complex boasts green spaces rarely found in Seoul, including Seorae Park right next door, Seoripul Park, and Montmartre Park, as well as top-tier residential advantages in Gangnam such as proximity to the Han River, major hospitals, school districts, commercial areas, and transportation.
‘The Palace 73’ offers various amenities within the complex that can be used as social spaces. The party space and wine library, operated by reservation, allow residents to invite family and friends to enjoy rare and valuable wines. The private theater, equipped with a high-end sound system, offers cinema viewing with catering services for guests. The poolside club, suitable for pool parties, and the dining space, usually operated as a tea omakase, can be reserved in advance to serve the finest meals and refreshments prepared by Michelin-starred chefs, providing a venue for social gatherings.
In the commercial spaces within the complex, Korea’s largest art group, OKNP Co., Ltd., provides total art care services along with personalized integrated clinic services. Additionally, there are various retail and amenity spaces including a luxury spa, luxury cars, yacht & equestrian club lounges, and Michelin-starred F&B services offering breakfast through dinner exclusively for residents.
