Teenager Wields Weapon Following Unknown Woman on Bus

A teenager who followed an unfamiliar passenger from the same bus and wielded a weapon was arrested by the police.
According to Yonhap News on the 30th, the Jeju Dongbu Police Station has booked and is investigating a teenager identified as A on charges of aggravated assault. A is accused of chasing a woman in her 20s, who had been on the same bus, after she got off at a bus stop in Aradong, Jeju City, around 9:30 p.m. on the 28th, and injuring her with a weapon.
The victim, who suffered severe facial injuries, was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery and is reported to be in stable condition.
Police investigations revealed that the two had no prior acquaintance, and A claims that he had an argument with Ms. B on the bus.
