Sungsimdang to Continue Operations at Daejeon Station Branch... Monthly Rent 133 Million Won
Sungsimdang, which was on the verge of closing its operations at Daejeon Station, will continue to operate for another five years.
On the 27th, Korail Distribution announced that Rojo Co., Ltd., which has been operating the Sungsimdang bakery, was reselected following a public bid for the comprehensive bakery on the 2nd floor of Daejeon Station. The contract period is five years starting this November.
Sungsimdang passed the review with a total score of 96.62 points, combining a non-quantitative evaluation (40 points) by four judges and a quantitative evaluation (60 points). The monthly rent was set at 133 million KRW. The previous rent was about 100 million KRW.
Korail Distribution caused controversy in February by proposing a monthly rent for the Sungsimdang Daejeon Station branch that was about four times higher than the current rate.
