Guri-si Extends Village Bus Operation During '2024 Cosmos Festival' Period
Extended Operation of 42 Buses on 7 Routes to Guri Hangang Citizen Park Event Venue
Guri City will extend the operation of local village buses to Guri Hangang Citizen Park during the period of the "2024 Guri Cosmos Festival."
The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun), announced on the 27th that during the '2024 Guri Cosmos Festival' held from October 11 to 13, the local village buses will be extended to run to Guri Hangang Citizen Park.
Guri City expects a large crowd during the festival period and plans to operate a total of 7 village bus routes with 42 buses running between Byeollae Line Guri Station, Donggureung Station, Jangja Lake Park Station, and Guri Hangang Citizen Park. The extended routes are numbers 2, 3, 5, 6, 6-1, 7, and 8, with operating hours from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Additionally, the city stated that citizens parking at the playground of Topyeong Elementary School, which will be used as a temporary parking lot, can use the village buses from the Samsung e-Pyeonhansesang Apartment stop located along Jangja-daero and the Beolmal Samgeori Sangnok Apartment stop to reach the festival site.
