Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) held the '2024 Student Council Special Lecture by Distinguished Guests and Club Expo' event.
The event, which took place on the 22nd and 23rd at Bumin Campus and Seunghak Campus, featured well-known figures such as MC and singer Park Myungsoo, KBO's all-time best foreign pitcher and former Doosan Bears player Dustin Nippert, sports commentator Park Moonsung, and 'Study Master' Kang Sungtae as guest lecturers, drawing great interest from students.
On the first day, the 23rd, Park Myungsoo, famous as a comedian, MC, and singer, gave a lecture on the theme of 'Confidence,' while sports commentator Park Moonsung spoke on 'Challenge, Are You Afraid?' at the Dong-A University Bumin Campus Daou Hall.
On the second day, the 24th, former Doosan Bears pitcher and current 'The Strongest Baseball' star Dustin Nippert gave a lecture on 'Motivation and Challenge,' and Kang Sungtae, CEO and 'Study Master,' met with Dong-A University students to talk about 'The Story of Challenging Social Ventures.'
In addition to the special lectures, the event also featured promotional and experience booths set up by clubs (such as Streets, Freaks, Lilac, Warm People, Dong-A Swimming Club, Copa, etc.), as well as campaigns for deepfake crime prevention, drug eradication, and plogging.
