SKT to Open Pre-orders for Mixed Reality Headset 'Meta Quest 3S' Starting on the 26th

SK Telecom announced that it will hold pre-orders for the affordable mixed reality (MR) headset 'Meta Quest 3S' from the 26th of this month until the 14th of next month.
SKT plans to start sequential shipping from the official release date on the 15th of next month so that domestic consumers, included in the first wave of release countries, can receive the Quest 3S quickly.
The 'Meta Quest 3S' comes in two versions, 128GB and 256GB, priced at 439,000 KRW and 579,000 KRW respectively. Notably, the 'Meta Quest 3S' is an affordable device that supports key features of the 'Meta Quest 3,' including color passthrough that mixes external reality and virtual reality via cameras, and 4K-level resolution (monocular 1832x1920, 20 PPD).
Pre-orders will be conducted online through three channels: 11st, SSG.com, and Hi-Mart.
Meta will exclusively release 'Batman Arkham Shadow,' the world's first virtual reality (VR) game in the Batman game series, simultaneously with the launch of the 'Meta Quest 3S.' Additionally, Meta will showcase its unique MR ecosystem with about 3,000 apps, including VR concert content from domestic K-pop idols.
To celebrate the launch, SKT will offer pre-order customers benefits worth up to 195,000 KRW, including ▲ free access to Batman Arkham Shadow ▲ discounts on the Elite Strap ▲ a 3-month subscription to the VR game service 'Meta Quest Plus' ▲ 50% discount on one of two accessories ▲ a 6-month extension of free A/S (total 1 year and 6 months) ▲ and a raffle event for the 128GB model (50 winners).
