Seongsan Fire Station and Jinju Fire Station Hold Mutual Donation Ceremony for Hometown Love Donation Program
Seongsan Fire Station in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, and Jinju Fire Station held a donation ceremony for the Hometown Love Donation Program, supporting each other's municipalities and promoting balanced regional development.
The total participation included 101 employees from each of Seongsan Fire Station and Jinju Fire Station (a total of 202 people), and each station donated 10.1 million KRW (a total of 20.2 million KRW) to Jinju City and Changwon Special City, respectively.
The donation ceremony, held on the 24th, was attended by Jang Geumyong, the 1st Vice Mayor of Changwon, Cho Hyungyong, Chief of Jinju Fire Station, and Kang Jongtae, Chief of Seongsan Fire Station.
Kang Jongtae, Chief of Seongsan Fire Station, said, "I am pleased to hold this meaningful event together with our staff to contribute to the local community," and added, "With this opportunity to participate in the Hometown Love Donation Program, we will continue to show interest in and actively support regional development."
