SK Shielders, Strategic Partnership with Verizon... Full-Scale Global Market Expansion Begins
Service Provision for Manufacturing Companies Engaged in Overseas Business
SK Shieldus announced on the 25th that it has signed a strategic partnership with Verizon. Verizon is one of the world's largest tech companies, providing services in various areas such as wired and wireless communications, internet services, cloud, and security.
Through this partnership, SK Shieldus and Verizon will leverage their security expertise to collaborate comprehensively in areas including ▲rapid global incident response ▲advancement of remote security monitoring services ▲joint provision of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment services.
First, the two companies will establish a joint incident response system capable of quickly responding to increasingly complex security environments and sophisticated threats. In the event of a security incident at factories or subsidiaries operating overseas, SK Shieldus will respond domestically while Verizon will jointly provide services overseas.
Additionally, SK Shieldus and Verizon will enhance their remote security monitoring services by sharing operational know-how and technology from their respective security monitoring centers. SK Shieldus's security monitoring center collects and processes approximately 8 trillion threat data annually, 7.9 billion daily, and 250,000 per second using big data processing technology, and conducts threat assessments on over 50,000 cases daily using AI technology. Verizon, possessing the world's largest communication network, can share vast threat intelligence, enabling more accurate threat data analysis and monitoring.
Furthermore, the companies aim to share their business networks and strengthen security capabilities by cross-providing services such as penetration testing and vulnerability assessments globally. SK Shieldus has secured customers across various industries domestically, while Verizon serves Fortune 500 companies and governments, making the synergy from their cooperation highly anticipated.
