34 Outstanding Startup Companies Apply for '2024 Second Half Goyang IR Day'
Final Selection of 10 Companies... 3.4:1 Competition Ratio
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) has received applications from 34 companies for the '2024 Second Half Goyang IR (Investor Relations) Day,' which will serve as a meeting ground for entrepreneurs and investors, signaling fierce competition.
The city accepted applications from August 26 to September 20, recording a competition rate of 3.4:1 based on the presentation evaluation selection criteria, raising high expectations for the 10 companies to be selected.
The city will select 30 companies through the first document screening and then choose 10 companies through the second presentation evaluation. The final 10 selected companies will receive programs to strengthen their pitching capabilities, including expert investment attraction training and one-on-one in-depth mentoring.
Additionally, the 10 selected companies will participate in the '2024 Second Half Goyang IR Day' held at Ilsandong-gu Office on October 29, where they can promote their business items to accelerators (AC) and venture capitalists (VC), engage in investment consultations, and take part in various networking programs.

Through this event, the city plans to provide growth opportunities such as the Goyang Youth Startup Fund and Goyang Venture Fund investment screenings to venture startups in various fields, and foster a vibrant startup atmosphere by facilitating active information exchange and networking among (prospective) entrepreneurs, startup organizations, and investors.
