Divorced men and women considering remarriage cited 'wrinkles' and 'obesity' respectively as the most concerning aspects of their partner's appearance.

When asked, "What aspect of appearance do you often find disappointing when choosing a remarriage partner?" men answered in order: ▲wrinkles (30.2%) ▲aftereffects of plastic surgery (25.7%) ▲obesity (21.3%) ▲hair loss or gray hair (14.3%). In response, Son Dong-gyu, CEO of OnlyU, advised, "When choosing a remarriage partner, one should focus on the inner qualities," but added, "Appearance, which influences first impressions, cannot be ignored. Given the current trend of valuing visual factors, each person should pay attention to managing their appearance."
Meanwhile, when asked, "If your remarriage partner has an outstanding appearance, how do you think it will affect your married life?" both men and women most frequently chose "frequent couple outings" (men 32.6%, women 31.4%). Men answered in order: ▲increased self-esteem (26.7%) ▲long-lasting affection (22.5%). Women answered: ▲long-lasting affection (27.1%) ▲increased self-esteem (24.8%). The fourth most common answer for both men and women was "overlooking minor issues" (men 18.2%, women 16.7%).
