Korean Air Increases Southeast Asia Resort Routes for Winter Holiday Season
Korean Air announced on the 24th that it will increase routes to Southeast Asian vacation destinations in line with the winter holiday season schedule, which will be applied from October this year to March next year. In particular, it plans to increase the number of flights to Nha Trang and Phu Quoc in Vietnam, and Bali in Indonesia, which are popular destinations among Korean tourists.
Korean Air will increase the schedule of the Vietnam Nha Trang and Phu Quoc routes, which previously operated once daily, to twice daily. The Incheon~Nha Trang route will operate twice daily starting October 27, when the winter schedule takes effect, and the Incheon~Phu Quoc route will increase to twice daily starting December 15.
The Incheon~Bali route, which currently operates 11 times a week, will be increased to twice daily starting October 20, and will maintain the same schedule during the winter season. Korean Air will deploy its latest Boeing 'Dreamliner' model 787-10 on this route.
Flight frequencies will also be increased on routes connecting major cities in the Americas and Europe. The Incheon~Las Vegas, USA route, currently operating five times a week, will be upgraded to a daily flight. The Canada Vancouver route will increase to 11 flights per week starting October 27, and then to twice daily starting December 1. The Incheon~Madrid, Spain route will increase from the current three times a week to four times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) during the winter season.
In the Asia region, flight frequencies will be increased on the Incheon~Kagoshima, Japan route and the Incheon~Taichung, Taiwan route. Currently, Kagoshima operates 3 to 5 times a week, and Taichung operates 4 times a week, but both routes will be upgraded to daily flights during the winter season.

A Korean Air official stated, "Korean Air's international flight supply for this winter season will recover 100% of the pre-COVID-19 pandemic route supply volume," adding, "We will stabilize the aviation market and enhance customer satisfaction through continuous route expansions and efficient schedule planning."
