Jo Myungrae, the Second Vice Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, visited the area near Jangcheon Port in Jinhae-gu, which suffered flooding damage due to heavy rainfall, to inspect and review the cause of the damage and the progress of the recovery efforts.

The area near Jangcheon Port in Jinhae-gu experienced temporary road closures due to sediment runoff caused by the flooding. However, the sediment has now been removed, and vehicle traffic has returned to normal.
Vice Mayor Jo emphasized the need for thorough countermeasures to prevent additional damage while inspecting facilities such as stormwater drains at the site.
He also urged special attention to safety management for public officials and on-site workers engaged in recovery operations.
Vice Mayor Jo stated, "To minimize inconvenience for citizens, we must mobilize all available resources and respond swiftly to restore damage caused by heavy rain," adding, "We will do our utmost to respond to the damage through meticulous management and inspections."
