A 20-year-old illegal immigrant who caused a traffic accident while driving without a license pushed away police officers who were accompanying him voluntarily and fled, prompting a police search.
According to the police on the 21st, at around 6:18 PM the previous day near Iljuk IC on the Jungbu Expressway in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, a vehicle driven by A, a man in his 20s of Kazakhstani nationality, collided with the car in front. After receiving the accident report, the police heard statements about A’s unlicensed driving from B, a manpower broker who arrived at the scene, and accompanied A voluntarily to verify the facts.
During this process, at around 9:20 PM the previous day, near the entrance of the Highway Patrol Unit 1 District in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, A pushed the police officers and ran away. It was confirmed that the two police officers with A were near the fingerprint recognition device at the building entrance to gain access. A’s domestic stay permit was valid until July of this year.
