Former NCT Member Taeyil Sent to Prosecution Without Detention on Sexual Crime Charges
Former idol group NCT member Taeil (30, real name Moon Taeil), who is accused of sexual crimes, has been sent to the prosecution without detention.
On the 13th, the Seoul Bangbae Police Station announced that Taeil was handed over to the prosecution the day before.
Taeil was booked on charges of sexual crimes in June and was investigated. On the 28th of last month, he was summoned for questioning.
On the day of the summons, SM Entertainment, the agency Taeil belonged to at the time, announced his withdrawal, stating, "We recognize the seriousness of the matter and have determined that he can no longer continue team activities."
