Jeon Seung-il, Chairman of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, is receiving the 'Social Conflict Resolution Division' award for contributions to regional social development hosted by Segye Ilbo.

Jeon Seung-il, Chairman of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, received the Grand Prize in the individual category for the 'Social Conflict Resolution' at the 9th Segye Ilbo Regional and Social Development Contribution Awards held at the Korea Press Center press conference room on the 12th.
The Segye Ilbo Regional and Social Development Contribution Awards were established to resolve regional conflicts and lay the foundation for peaceful reunification. A panel of experts evaluated the candidates and selected the winners. Among 243 local governments nationwide, Jeon Seung-il was the only recipient from the Honam region.
