Support for Foreign Worker Exclusive Insurance Service on HanaEZ App
Hana Bank announced on the 12th that it signed a business agreement with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance on the 11th at its Euljiro headquarters to provide the country's first 'EPS Foreign Worker Exclusive Insurance' service.
This business agreement was established to offer services that allow foreign workers under the EPS (Employment Permit System) non-professional employment (E-9) and visiting employment (H-2) visa categories to access mandatory insurance policies such as departure maturity insurance, return cost insurance, and accident insurance through Hana Bank's multilingual overseas remittance app, 'HanaEZ.'
Through this agreement, foreign workers can now quickly and conveniently check their insurance subscription details and file claims without fax applications or submitting physical documents, using Hana Bank's HanaEZ app available in 14 languages.
The foreign worker exclusive insurance includes departure maturity insurance, return cost insurance, and accident insurance provided by Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. This service is the first of its kind in Korea, implemented by Hana Bank in collaboration with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance through an open API connection.
