At the ‘2024 Glocal Future Education Expo’ held on May 30th at the Yeosu World Expo Center, the future classroom featured large monitors instead of blackboards, and students participated in classes using tablet PCs.
At that time, students held a video conference with an AI expert in New Zealand with the help of real-time translation ChatGPT and confirmed the reality of disappearing Antarctic glaciers through virtual reality content.
Accordingly, Wando Office of Education staff sought to understand the unfamiliar generative AI through this training after visiting the future education expo and explored ways to support school sites. They also spent time researching together on the utilization and approach of generative AI, which has gained increased interest following the announcement of the domestic platform company’s ‘Clover X.’
