Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation (President Kim Namil) announced that it will hold the 'Chuseok Bomun Festival' at Bomun Lakeside Square in Bomun Tourist Complex for three days from the 15th to the 17th to celebrate the 2024 Chuseok holiday.
Every year, Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation hosts a Chuseok event, offering a variety of content to provide tourists with a special experience.
The main performances for this year's Chuseok event will include acoustic guitar, trot, Korean traditional music, magic shows, and B-boy performances. There will also be family recreation activities, traditional folk game competitions, and an impromptu singing contest, where families can enjoy fun times together and win small prizes.
In addition, activities such as caricature drawing, tattoo experiences, trying on king and queen costumes, and traditional folk games (Jegichagi, Tuho, Ddakjichigi, Yutnori) will provide enjoyable memories for families attending the event.
President Kim Namil said, "I hope the event held for the 2024 Chuseok will remain a wonderful memory for tourists, and I wish everyone visiting Bomun Tourist Complex a bountiful and happy holiday." He added, "Please also show great interest in the APEC 2025 to be held in Gyeongju next year and the Tourism History Half-Century Project."
