BPA Rowing Team Wins Bronze Medal at K-water Rowing Competition
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Junseok) announced that its rowing team won one bronze medal at the "21st K-water President's Cup National Rowing Competition" held at Daedong Ecological Sports Park in Gimhae, Gyeongnam from June 6 to 8.
Choi Sujin and Lee Sumin, who competed in the women's general lightweight double sculls event, finished third with a time of 7 minutes 39.29 seconds.
Coach Lee Hyungki said, "Although our ranking in the lightweight double sculls dropped compared to the previous competition, we improved our record by 14.12 seconds, which is very encouraging in terms of performance. We will train hard so that all our athletes can achieve good results at the National Sports Festival."
