On the 9th, the Military Mutual Aid Association announced, "We donated 10 million won to the ‘Bap-Peo Sharing Movement Headquarters’ in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, to provide free lunches for elderly living alone and vulnerable groups." The Military Mutual Aid Association has been consistently participating in the Bap-Peo sharing volunteer activities since 2015, and plans to have its executives and employees join volunteer work again in November.
On the same afternoon, executives and employees delivered consolation money and gifts to five individuals recommended by the Seoul Southern Veterans Affairs Office, who are national veterans facing difficult family circumstances. The Military Mutual Aid Association has been conducting consolation activities for national veterans during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays since 2013.
Jung Jae-kwan, Chairman of the Military Mutual Aid Association, stated, "Although it is a small gesture, I hope it will be remembered as a happy and warm Chuseok holiday for everyone. The Military Mutual Aid Association will continue to strive to support and serve the local community."
