"Almost a Child Was Harmed" Stroller Left in Hallway Catches Fire... Investigation into Possible Arson
"We Have Not Yet Identified the Suspect"
According to Yonhap News on the 9th, a fire suddenly broke out in a stroller left in the hallway of an apartment in Incheon, prompting a police investigation.
According to the report, a fire occurred around 4:04 PM the previous day in the hallway on the 3rd floor of a 15-story apartment building in Seochang-dong, Namdong-gu.
There were no casualties from the fire, but the stroller and other items in the hallway were burned, causing property damage estimated at 970,000 won (according to the fire department). At the time of the fire, an apartment management office employee used an indoor fire hydrant to extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading.
The police and fire authorities believe it is unlikely that the fire started naturally from the stroller in the hallway and are investigating the possibility of arson.
