The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization planned this event to promote the peaceful value of the DMZ. The performance began with a pre-event screening of peace-themed videos, followed by a session sharing the history and peaceful significance of the DMZ.
Especially drawing attention was the ‘DMZ Peace Concert,’ where Song Ga-in, Jung Dong-won, Shin Sung, Na Young, Kim So-yu, and Seolhwa captivated the audience with moving songs expressing our joys and sorrows. Following this, the ‘Pyeonghwanuri Picnic Festival’ featured Lee Seung-hwan, Kim Yoon-ah, Lucy, and Stella Jang conveying the meaning of peace.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization operated various programs linking performances with stay activation to promote the charm of the DMZ area in Gyeonggi Province during the event.
A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "Since much effort was made to transform this place, once recognized as a symbol of division, into a global symbol of ecology and peace by conveying the value of peace and culture through this performance, we hope the audience had fun and gained a new perspective on the DMZ."
