Yoon In-chon Meets with Dean of National Public Arts University to Discuss Policy

Yoo In-chon, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, met with deans belonging to the Council of Deans of National and Public Art Universities at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul, on the 6th to discuss current issues in art universities and ways to support the continuous spread of Hallyu.
They talked about the power of pure arts, the source of K-culture, and exchanged opinions on the role of art universities in continuously leading the Hallyu wave.
In addition, they listened to the realities and difficulties faced by local art universities and other institutions nurturing prospective artists, and sought policy measures that the government and art universities should jointly pursue in the long term to cultivate artistic talent.
