First, Kakao will strengthen market expansion and promotion by holding special exhibitions to showcase Mokpo City's excellent local specialties within its impact commerce platform, Kakao Makers. They plan to develop tourism products linked with travel and experiences to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy. Mokpo City is a region included in the West Sea Route of the Korea Dullegil Walking Campaign, "One Round Korea Challenge," conducted on Kakao Makers. The company expects synergy by developing and selling tourism products linked to the campaign.
Support will also be provided to local young entrepreneurs. For young local entrepreneurs who have good products but face difficulties in promotion, Kakao will support marketing activities such as content creation and product photography and offer opportunities to sell products on Kakao Makers.
