A fishing vessel ran aground off the coast near Jindo, Jeollanam-do, and the Coast Guard rescued all crew members on board.
According to Yonhap News Agency, at around 4:28 p.m. on the 4th, a 24-ton fishing vessel named A ran aground near Seongnamdo, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do. The Mokpo Coast Guard, dispatched to the scene after receiving the report, safely rescued all nine crew members on board.
The Coast Guard is investigating the exact circumstances, believing the accident occurred due to navigational negligence while the fishing vessel was entering Seomang Port in Jindo after completing fishing operations.
