SK Innovation Happy Dream is a volunteer activity aimed at helping children with developmental disabilities adapt socially and develop independence skills, which has been carried out since 2016. This year, a total of about 450 members from SK Innovation affiliates will participate throughout September, with events held in Seoul and Daejeon including outings to movie theaters, handball classes, and ecological field experience learning.
First, 80 members from SK Innovation affiliates paired one-on-one with children with developmental disabilities at a special school in Seoul on the 3rd to go on a movie outing. The event was held under the concept of 'Cinema Christmas in September,' where SK members dressed as Santa Claus and enjoyed watching the movie Inside Out 2 with the children. On the 12th, they will have a second movie outing with about 100 children with developmental disabilities at a special school in Daejeon.

The handball class is prepared this month for children at two special schools in Seoul by the SK Enmove women's handball team SK Sugar Gliders and Korea National Sport University. The program is designed to help children with developmental disabilities improve their physical abilities and social skills through repetitive physical training and team sports, and about 80 SK members will participate weekly as assistant instructors in the handball class.
The ecological field experience learning involves visits to zoos and botanical gardens so that children with developmental disabilities, who find outdoor activities difficult without close care, can enjoy the natural environment.
