Asia Economy will host the "2nd Asia Economy Alternative Investment Forum" on the 12th at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, gathering influential domestic and international investment and economic experts. Institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance companies, asset management firms, and securities companies are expanding their interest in alternative investments as part of portfolio diversification. Recently, participation from individual investors, especially high-net-worth individuals, has also been increasing. Launched in 2023, Asia Economy's Alternative Investment Forum is designed to share in-depth strategies on alternative investments, whose investment scale is expanding globally, and to explore various investment opportunities. This year’s forum will feature expert lectures under the theme "Global Alternative Investment Trends and Korea’s Opportunity Creation (K-Value Up)." The event will begin with a special lecture by Dr. Kwak Su-jong, Ph.D. in Economics, on "Capital Markets After the U.S. Presidential Election," followed by a keynote presentation by Lee Hoon, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), on "Global Economic Outlook and Investment Strategy Directions." Shin Hwan-jong, Head of Investment Strategy at Korea Investment & Securities, will present on "Global Alternative Investment Trends and Korea’s Investment Opportunities," and Won Jong-hyun, Member of the National Pension Service Investment Policy Committee, will discuss "National Pension Service Investment Policy Directions and K-Value Up."
