Regular Support for Two Years Through Sponsorship of Low-Income Children
Masan Happo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 3rd that it will implement a sponsorship program in partnership with the Eoullim Support Association, providing regular support to three low-income child households.
The Eoullim Support Association is a volunteer organization that has been selecting children from families in crisis since 2016 and providing them with regular support through sponsorship programs.
Through this donation, three children from low-income single-parent households were selected to receive support worth approximately 7.2 million KRW, with 100,000 KRW provided to each household every month for two years.
Chairman Cho Deokhwan stated, "I hope this sponsorship will serve as an opportunity for children from marginalized groups to grow into individuals who care for their neighbors and practice sharing with a warm heart," and added, "We will continue our efforts to carry out sharing activities with our dedicated members."
Kang Changyeol, head of Masan Happo-gu Office, responded, "Consistent support will be a great help to children facing difficulties. Thank you for practicing valuable sharing in our community even during challenging times."
