"Paris Olympic Shooting Heroes Gathered"... Police Chief's Cup Shooting Competition Held
The National Police Agency and the Korea Shooting Federation announced on the 4th that the "National Police Chief's Cup Shooting Competition" will be held at the Cheongju Comprehensive Shooting Range until the 11th.
The Police Chief's Cup Shooting Competition began in 1992 as part of the 47th Police Day commemorative event and, along with the Security Chief's Cup, General Hong Beom-do Cup, Shooting Federation President's Cup, Bonghwang Cup, and Michuhol Cup shooting competitions, also serves as a national team selection event. From the 1st to the 32nd competition, 56 new Korean records and 80 Korean tied records have been established.
This competition features Paris Olympic shooting medalists Ban Hyo-jin, Yang Ji-in, Oh Ye-jin, Kim Ye-ji, Jo Young-jae, Geum Ji-hyun, and Park Ha-jun. A total of 19 events, including the 10m air rifle, will be held, with 2,793 athletes from 399 teams competing across middle school, high school, university, general, and disabled divisions.
