iMBank Offers 50-90% Debt Reduction for Financially Marginalized Groups... 5-Year Installments and Incentives for Faithful Repayment
iMBank (President Hwang Byungwoo) announced on the 3rd that it will implement the 'iM Warm Finance Debt Reduction Program' for four months until the end of December, targeting financially marginalized groups experiencing economic difficulties.
This program applies the highest level of debt reduction rates among financial institutions to provide financially marginalized groups in the region with opportunities for recovery through debt adjustment.
For special bonds (long-term delinquent debts), a flexible reduction rate (50-90%) reflecting the diverse characteristics of delinquent customers will be applied. Various benefits to ease the repayment burden will also be provided, such as long-term installment payments of up to five years and incentives for faithful repayment.
President Hwang Byungwoo stated, "iMBank, which is providing various financial support for small business owners, mid- to low-credit borrowers, SMEs, and young people, will continue to implement credit recovery support programs to contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
