Professor Kim Jaewook of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Appointed as the 10th President of the Korean Language Education Institution Representatives Council
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies announced on the 3rd that Professor Kim Jae-wook of the KFL Graduate School has been inaugurated as the 10th president of the Korean Language Education Institutions Representatives Council. The president's term is two years.

View original imageEstablished in 2006, the Korean Language Education Institutions Representatives Council is a consultative body formed by Korean language education institutions to promote the overseas dissemination of Korean and respond to the multiculturalization of Korean society. Currently, over 170 Korean language education institutions participate.
After earning a Ph.D. in Literature from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Professor Kim has taught morphology and grammar for over 30 years at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He has been actively involved in the field of Korean language education as a foreign language and served as the 19th president of the Bilingualism Society. At Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, he has held positions such as Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and Director of the Foreign Language Education Research Institute, and he currently serves as the Director of the Korean Language and Culture Education Center.
