The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), together with the Ministry of Science and ICT, announced that it will hold a seminar on the 5th at the Yongsan Royal Park Convention to share various cyber threat cases related to artificial intelligence (AI) in daily life and discuss response measures.
Recently, cyber attacks have been attempted by easily and massively creating malware using generative AI. In response, KISA will highlight both the positive and negative aspects of AI technology under the theme "Cyber Threats Created by AI, Cyber Threats Prevented by AI" at this seminar. Various sessions will also be provided to create a safe environment where AI and humans can coexist.
Starting with a special lecture titled "The Counterattack of Convenience" by Korea's first profiler, Professor Kwon Il-yong, presentations will continue on topics such as ▲ adoption cases of large language models (LLM) for business-to-business (B2B) ▲ AI LLM hacking techniques and security strategies ▲ evolving fraud and prevention with AI FDS ▲ AI crimes and security measures ▲ AI-based security technologies and application cases.
Afterwards, there will be a session to share and discuss recent major policy updates including ▲ publicly available personal information processing guidelines for AI development and services ▲ response measures to generative AI security threats ▲ and responses to deepfake regulations.
