On the morning of the 30th, President Yoon Suk-yeol presented the letter of appointment to Kim Moon-soo, Minister of Employment and Labor, at the Yongsan Presidential Office.
President Yoon awarded the letter of appointment to Minister Kim and handed a bouquet to the minister's spouse.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Presidential Secretary Jeong Jin-seok, Director of National Security Shin Won-sik, Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Hong Cheol-ho, Senior Secretary for Public Relations Lee Do-woon, and Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs Kim Joo-hyun.
In the second national briefing held the previous day, President Yoon emphasized the 'global standard' related to labor reform and labor flexibility.
President Yoon stated, "We will continue the achievements of labor-management rule of law, expand workers' choice to enable flexible work in various forms, and improve the rigid wage system so that skilled middle-aged and older workers can continue working."
