On the 29th, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries held the 'HD Safety Pay Business Agreement Ceremony' at its Ulsan headquarters, attended by Noh Jin-yul, President of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Baek Seung-jun, Business Leader of Kakao Pay, and Lee Mu-deok, Chairman of the HD Hyundai Heavy Industries In-house Partner Council.
HD Safety Pay is an incentive system that awards safety points for participating in safety activities such as ▲mobile safety work instructions ▲on-site risk assessments ▲safety reports ▲safety inspections ▲safety training ▲safety praise coupons via a mobile app. The system was launched on the 19th of this month.
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries introduced HD Safety Pay to enhance safety management motivation and to make safety activities habitual and part of daily life by providing real-time point rewards so that employees can immediately feel the benefits of their safety efforts.
HD Safety Pay points can be converted to Kakao Pay points at a 1:1 ratio through a strategic partnership with Kakao Pay, and can be conveniently used like cash at various Kakao Pay online and offline affiliated stores.
Additionally, HD Safety Pay allows not only HD Hyundai Heavy Industries employees but also in-house partner company employees to participate and accumulate points.
Noh Jin-yul, President of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, said, "The HD Safety Pay system is expected to increase voluntary participation in safety activities among employees and lead to an overall improvement in the organization's safety culture. We will continue to strive to create a safer workplace by strengthening autonomous safety management."
