DL E&C announced on the 29th that about 20 partner companies participated in the 3rd session of the Construction Win-Win Growth Executive Course held at Chung-Ang University.

At the entrance ceremony, Lee Chan-kyu, Executive Vice President of Chung-Ang University, gave a special lecture on the theme of 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Future Society.' Kim Chang-sik, DL E&C’s Plant Purchasing Executive, along with other executives and partner company representatives, also attended.

This 15-week course is operated as an industry-academia close cooperation program, including lectures by Chung-Ang University professors and special lectures by DL E&C executives. Tuition fees are fully supported by DL E&C. Since 2022, DL E&C has been the first in the industry to operate the Construction Win-Win Growth Executive Course in partnership with Chung-Ang University.

DL E&C designed this program to reflect trends and future issues, offering diverse content such as smart construction technology, quality improvement, and regulatory trends. The program also strengthens connections with new businesses like Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and hydrogen plants.

Starting this year, a new educational course was established to compare the management systems of the construction industry with those of the manufacturing industry and to explore implications. Unlike manufacturing, which produces standardized products, construction is considered a field where process management is challenging.

Providing customized education has also increased partner companies’ satisfaction. The program not only identifies weak areas of partner companies but also discovers and improves the root causes of each company’s vulnerabilities.

DL E&C is focusing on enhancing the competitiveness of its partners to build a sustainable win-win growth system. Due to the construction industry's high dependence on partners, all on-site issues such as quality, safety, cost, and schedule are closely interconnected.

Kim Chang-sik, DL E&C’s Plant Purchasing Executive, said, "Strengthening the competitiveness of our partners based on mutual growth directly leads to DL E&C’s competitiveness. We will provide knowledge and insights necessary for frontline management through customized programs that reflect current issues and trends."
