Jung Hae-chan (26), the eldest son of Jung Yong-jin, chairman of Shinsegae Group, is reported to have completed internships at a domestic accounting firm and a renowned financial company in New York, USA. On the 28th, Newsis reported that "Jung Hae-chan participated in the 'Summer Analyst Program' at Rockefeller Capital Management, an asset management firm located in New York, USA, from June to August this year."

Born in 1998, Jung Hae-chan is a '4th generation Shinsegae owner.' After majoring in Hotel Management at the prestigious Cornell University in the United States, he interned at Westin Chosun Hotel, a Shinsegae Group affiliate, in 2018. He then enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the army in 2021 and was discharged in May last year. After discharge, he completed a hands-on internship in the financial advisory division of Samjong KPMG, one of the Big Four accounting firms in Korea. Since August last year, he has been reportedly pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration related to the sports and fitness industry at Indiana University in the United States.
Last December, Chairman Jung attracted attention by attending a flute recital by his wife, Han Ji-hee, along with his eldest son Jung Hae-chan, third daughter Jung Hye-yoon, and youngest son Jung Hae-jun. After Han's performance ended, they took a commemorative photo together, and Vice Chairman Jung personally promoted his wife's recital by posting the concert poster on social media.
