Duksung Women's University Hosts 'Korea-Japan Joint Exchange Program for International Students'

Duksung Women's University announced on the 27th that it held the '2024 Korea-Japan Joint Higher Education International Student Exchange Undergraduate Short-term Program.'
The International Affairs Office of Duksung Women's University organized the program from the 5th to the 16th to enable Korean and Japanese international students to learn about each other's cultures through academic exchange and various cultural experiences. This program was co-hosted by Duksung Women's University and the National Institute for International Education under the Ministry of Education.
The program involved a total of 22 invited Japanese scholarship students from Hosei University, Kobe Shoin University, Bunkyo Gakuin University, Chikushi University, Ferris University, and Kokushikan University, who participated alongside Duksung Women's University students in academic exchanges and cultural experience activities.
The academic exchange was led by professors from the Department of Japanese Language and Literature at Duksung Women's University, who conducted sessions analyzing cultural differences and society between Korea and Japan. Cultural experience activities included a one-day Korean traditional craft class and company visits to Samsung and Naver.

Kim Sang-man, Director of the International Affairs Office at Duksung Women's University, said, "We expect all participating Korean and Japanese students to grow into global leaders through this program," adding, "It is meaningful that students from both countries have laid the groundwork for future development."
